SERVICES
Services and Visas
As an employer, you can apply to become accredited and hire migrants for up to 5 years by recruiting and supporting them to apply for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV). AEWV accreditation is also needed to support someone applying for some resident visas too. If you are an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), you can apply for a job check. You may need to advertise the job or engage with Work and Income first.
Accredited Employer Work Visa
Allows skilled workers to live and work in New Zealand for an accredited employer, potentially offering a pathway to residence.
Student Visa for Tertiary Study
Enables international students to study full-time at a New Zealand tertiary education institution.
Visitor Visa
Grants temporary entry to New Zealand for tourism, business, or visiting family or friends for up to 9 months.
Straight to Residence Visa
If you have a job or job offer with an accredited employer, and your job is on Tier 1 of the Green List of in-demand jobs, you may apply for this visa.
Work to Residence
If you currently have a job or job offer with an accredited employer, and have worked in New Zealand for 24 months in a Green List Tier 2 in-demand job, you may be eligible for this visa.
Dependent Child Student Visa
If you have an appropriate work or student visa, you may be eligible to apply for this visa to bring your dependent children to study at primary or secondary school in New Zealand.
Partner of a New Zealander Resident Visa
Allows the partner of a New Zealand citizen or resident to live in New Zealand permanently, based on their relationship.
Partner of a Work or Student Visa Holder
If your partner is studying for an eligible level 7 or 8 qualification, or a level 9 or 10 qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF), you may be eligible to apply for this visa.
Work Visa Based on Partnership
If your partner has an eligible work visa to support your application, you may be eligible for this visa, which allows the partner of a New Zealand work visa holder to work in New Zealand. Typically granted for the same duration as the principal work visa.
Visitor Visa Based on Partnership
Allows the partner of a New Zealand citizen, resident, or work visa holder to visit New Zealand for a temporary period based on their relationship.
Permanent Resident Visa
You can apply for this visa if you have had a resident visa for more than 2 years. This visa lets you live in New Zealand permanently, and travel in and out of the country.
Variation of Conditions or Job Change
Allows individuals who are already in New Zealand on a temporary visa to change the conditions of their visa, depending on the visa currently held.
Section 61
A Section 61 request is an application to the Minister of Immigration seeking approval to remain in New Zealand when a person is unlawfully in the country, typically due to overstaying or breaching visa conditions. It allows the Minister to use discretionary power to grant a visa despite the individual not meeting standard visa requirements. Contact me if you have found yourself in a situation where you have become unlawful.
