About Me

I hold a Graduate Certificate In New Zealand Immigration Advice and have been a Fully Licensed Immigration Adviser Since February 2016.

I moved from South Africa to New Zealand in 2006 and understand the challenges and stress associated with moving countries and applying for temporary visas and residence.

Services and Visas

Employer Accreditation and Job Checks

As an employer, you can apply to become accredited and hire migrants for up to 5 years by recruiting and supporting them to apply for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV). AEWV accreditation is also needed to support someone applying for some resident visas too. If you are an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), you can apply for a job check. You may need to advertise the job or engage with Work and Income first.

Accredited Employer Work Visa

Allows skilled workers to live and work in New Zealand for an accredited employer, potentially offering a pathway to residence.

Student Visa for Tertiary Study

Enables international students to study full-time at a New Zealand tertiary education institution.

Visitor Visa

Grants temporary entry to New Zealand for tourism, business, or visiting family or friends for up to 9 months.

Straight to Residence Visa

If you have a job or job offer with an accredited employer, and your job is on Tier 1 of the Green List of in-demand jobs you may apply for this visa.

Work to Residence

If you currently have a job or job offer with an accredited employer, and have worked in New Zealand for 24 months in a Green List Tier 2 in-demand job you may be eligible for this visa.

Partner of a New Zealander Resident Visa

Allows the partner of a New Zealand citizen or resident to live in New Zealand permanently, based on their relationship.

Dependent Child Student Visa

If you have an appropriate work or student visa, you may be eligible to apply for this visa to bring your dependent children to study at primary or secondary school in New Zealand.

Partner of a New Zealander Resident Visa

Allows the partner of a New Zealand citizen or resident to live in New Zealand permanently, based on their relationship.

Partner of a Work or Student Visa Holder

Grants a visa to the partner of someone holding a valid work or student visa, allowing them to live, work, or study in New Zealand.and while their parent holds a valid student visa.

Partner of a Student Visa Holder

If your partner is studying for an eligible level 7 or 8 qualification, or a level 9 or 10 qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) you may be eligible to apply for this visa.

Work Visa Based on Partnership

If your partner has an eligible work visa to support your application, you may be eligible for this visa which will allows the partner of a New Zealand work visa holder to work in New Zealand. Typically granted for the same duration as the principal work visa.

Visitor Visa Based on Partnership

Allows the partner of a New Zealand citizen, resident, or work visa holder to visit New Zealand for a temporary period based on their relationship.

Permanent Resident Visa

You can apply for this visa if you have had a resident visa for more than 2 years. This visa lets you live in New Zealand permanently, and travel in and out of the country.

Variation of Conditions or Job Change

A Variation of Conditions or Job Change (depending on the visa you currently hold) allows individuals who are already in New Zealand on a temporary visa to change the conditions of their visa.

Section 61

A Section 61 request is an application to the Minister of Immigration seeking approval to remain in New Zealand when a person is unlawfully in the country, typically due to overstaying or breaching visa conditions. It allows the Minister to use discretionary power to grant a visa despite the individual not meeting standard visa requirements.
